Layered bedding

Something about layered bedding is just so sumptuous and cozy. It looks divine too, who wouldn't want to crawl into a bed covered in a variety of blankets and downs?
I have been trying to achieve this look, but can't seem to find a down comforter thick and fluffy enough. Likely because I live in Arizona and it's kind of hard to justify that kind of warmth and layering when it's 1000 degrees out. A girl can dream....especially with beds like these!

Fashion Friday: Outfits to cool off

Woohoo, it's August! It's as hot as ever here and right now we relish the days when it rains and cools down to the 90's. I'v been sticking to dresses and occasionally shorts with tank tops as it's too hot to even think about pants. I wouldn't mind if these outfits decided to appear in my closet.

Wedding Wednesday: Kate Spade Inspired

I'll be honest, ever since we got engaged I've spent hours (and hours) on Pinterest looking at wedding inspiration. This pink and gold Kate Spade inspired wedding really stood out to me. I should've known it was featured on Ruffled.

I love the pops of hot pink mixed with the gold. It just looks so cheery and happy!

I might have to rip off that idea for a table runner, and I would kill for some gold cutlery and that gold rimmed glass!

Well, that ring is now mine. Yup! Today was mine and T's 7th "anniversary". You know how much I love that number 7.

I wish my nails looked better. Manicure stat!

Bold Bathrooms

I'm a fan of dark colors in small spaces, especially when those small spaces are bathrooms. Then again, dark colors and bold prints are awesome in any size bathroom.

I am a sucker for tented weddings. Not sure why, but I am.
I love this simple, sweet wedding. A big white tent, pretty lights, colorful centerpieces, key escort cards, a suitcase and sofa sitting area, delicious looking desserts, invites by Rifle, a lacy wedding dress, and OH! are those figs I see? <3 p="">
