The Rocky Road to Dublin

T and I would love to move to Ireland for a year. Actually, it was kind of our plan until we found that we can not get a job there unless the Irish employer shows proof that no Irish citizen could have filled the position ,so basically we would have to beat out all of Ireland for a job. I'm very sad about this but someday we will visit and spend extensive time there.
I'm still going to daydream though...
(listen)

Gorgeous!
We  could move to gorgeous Cork
...and get an adorable apartment like this.
If we loved it enough maybe we'd stay an get a house like this...
in a colorful town like this one
We could visit amazing castles
and it would rain, a lot! I love the rain, and T loves the cold
How could you not want to be there?

There's a snake in my boot!

I have 10 minutes left until it's officially Saturday so I better get this out quick...

T and I went to see Toy Story 3 with his mom, cousin, niece, sister and her fiance. It was awesome, I seriously loved it. It made me cry of course, what Pixar film doesn't make me cry? Then T had me laughing so hard that I was shaking uncontrollably. I love it.

My favorite thing about the movie?

To infinity and beyond!

Thursday Throwback -Ghost dream-

I had this dream a while ago (April 1st, 2010 to be exact) but I've been saving it for a Thursday.

Ghost dream

It started that I was in some really cool hotel room (large, open space. The bathroom was huge and the walls didn't go all the way up. There were even several closets full of gorgeous clothes) with T and some pretty girl.
The girl and I were wandering around exploring things when we saw a little flash of light. Then, all of a sudden, I was a little girl and this pretty girl was my older "sister". We were running around playing and the hotel kept getting bigger and bigger, until it was an old mansion and we kept discovering new areas that hadn't been there before.
We went to this one area and saw another flash and got this weird scary sense that it was a ghost but we continued playing anyway. Then we had some friends there who were playing and chasing us around until me and my sister ran downstairs and outside where we saw our parents.

I realized then that we were dead (my sister and I). We talked for a little bit with my parents and then went back inside with our "new" brother (He had been our brother while we were living but apparently he had just died and therefore joined us). As we were walking back inside some old lady popped her head in and said  to me "He put you in here with the towers and flashes", I realized I was the only one of us 3 children who knew we were dead, my sister and brother had no idea. I didn't say anything to them and we ran back upstairs and our friends were chasing us again so we jumped over a little banister, that lead to a ramp to get away from them.

That was it. That was the dream. The weirdest part was that I woke up feeling very calm instead of creeped out like I normally would have (and should have) been. It was kind of a surreal feeling.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever had a dream that left you feeling out of sorts?

Wednesday can be done on Thursday, especially when books are involved

Hey, why not? I fell asleep early last night and didn't get to post. I can make it up now, right?

I went to the local library with hopes of getting the first book in the "Pretty Little Liars" series along with the first of the Sookie Stackhouse books. Unfortunately, they had neither. I ended up with "Chocolat" and "Shoe Addicts Anonymous". While I was a bit bummed at how small (and I mean small) my library was I was reminded of how much I love libraries. I love the institutional, old feel of them. I like that you're supposed to be quiet (I've always enjoyed the sound of whispered voices reading). Most of all, I love books and reading. I learned how to read when I was about 3 1/2 and I've been hooked ever since.

I've always wanted to have a huge library in my house someday but after seeing these photos I think I could settle for some awesome book cases. I'm especially loving this shelf above the doorway trend I've been noticing.

Pretty Little Liars

I just caught this show on ABC family tonight and I am obsessed! I guess it started out as books (um, must get to the library like tomorrow.) but its developed into a show. I don't want to give anything away so you can read about it here or watch.
Basically its got gorgeous girls, hot guys, lies, murder and lots of secrets. I'll definitely be staying tuned next week and getting the books.

Monday Links

It's Monday, have a cupcake! Seriously, Monday's kind of suck so I've gathered up some cool things I've found, just for your enjoyment.

I am in love with this venue. Just look at this wedding done there.

You can create your own fabric here. How sweet.

My inner Nancy Drew needs this.

Sweet little Blue bird purse

Have I mentioned how much I love birds

Who knew masking tape could be so fun!

I can't currently afford a new headboard, but maybe I could make one. I love these tufted headboards.

I hope your Monday wasn't too shabby. Bring on Tuesday!

Too many vampires?

I had been looking forward to today for month because it was the season premiere of True Blood. T and I love this show and always look forward to Sundays when it comes on. The season premiere was awesome as usual and I'm looking forward to next weeks. I love love love Anna Paquin, she is just so cute.

I have also been rereading my Twilight books. Yes, yes, I'm one of those people. I started reading the books back in Fall of 2008 and I read all 4 in the matter of 2 days. I just could not put them down. The movies however, leave much to be desired. I will still watch them all but the books are far superior. The Edward I conjured up in my head is much better looking than Robert Pattison as are the others. Anyways, I just finished rereading Twilight and now I should start New Moon and I just don't want to, it's my least favorite of the books and I just watched the movie, think its ok to skip it?

Speaking of Robert Pattinson... one of my dearest friends is getting married next month and I had a dream the other night that she was marrying Robert. It was funny because I knew that's who she was marrying and I had even met him yet it wasn't until right before the wedding that it hit me and I was like "oh my gosh, she's marrying Robert Pattinson! I wonder if Kristin Stewert and Taylor Lautner will be at the wedding...oh my goodness...she is marrying someone famous!". Oh how silly. Let me tell you, her awesome Fiance, Matt is a much better fit for her.
Plus, how cute are her Save The Dates? The talented bride created them herself.
Last names removed of course for their privacy. I just got the wedding invite in the mail yesterday and let me tell you, it's just as amazing. I'll post picture of that another day though so stay tuned.
