Sometimes at night I get an urge to just go drive, to nowhere. Unfortunately, I think much like "winter light" this is not something I can really describe.
I used to do this a lot when I lived back home and even occasionally while at school in South Carolina (though that was with my roomie) but for some reason, it's just not the same here in Phoenix.
I'd hop in my Jeep and just drive around town, or out of town. Something about being in the car by myself with hardly anyone else on the road is so soothing. You can laugh, cry, sit in silence or talk to yourself. Almost like the world is your own.

Fashion Friday: Dreaming
I was dying to post this yesterday but with blogger down I could not. Works better this way though since it's definitely fashion. I'm dying to have an organza dress like this. Something really flowy and ethereal. The movement in these just kills me (in a good way). Really, any of Elie Saab's dresses would do.

Wedding Wednesday: Black & White
Wouldn't an all black and white wedding be so chic? I'm loving the above photos but I'd probably pop a little more black in there. Perhaps black place cards or napkins? Or maybe some black chargers!
I imagine little black bridesmaids dresses with white flowers and a black and white candy bar. Even a photo booth with B&W photos would play in perfectly.

Let me tell you about my best friend...
Mom!
I wanted to do something like this for her on her Birthday but I was in San Francisco and it just did not work out so I figure Mother's Day is the perfect make up opportunity.
I have been blessed with the best mom I could ever have. Growing up she was always fun and encouraging and had the perfect balance of strictness.
I remember her pulling me out of school early one sunny day to go home and bake snickerdoodles and the fact that she tried to work just part time so she could drop me off and pick me up herself. No school bus for this lucky girl ;)
Now, don't get me wrong, we had our differences. I had those moments of "You don't understand!" and "You're wrong" but as I've gotten older I've learned that she did understand, and she was right. Dad and I always picked on her for throwing everything away and constantly cleaning. This is just one of the many things I've inherited from her and am proud of.
Now I give her a call every day after work on my drive home so she can patiently listen to me talk about myself for an hour. She's the best listener, advice giver and most dedicated blog follower (dad, you're an extremely close 2nd). She truly is my best friend.
I love you mama!

Here I am playing with my formations. Figured I'd ask my lovely followers for their opinions. I pretty much copied the formations from yesterdays posts to see how I feel. I think mine and T's favorite's are the ones where it makes a square with the edges (#3, 4, & 5) and the very last one. I've numbered the bottom of each to limit confusion ;)
So, thoughts? Do you like any of these? If so, should the frames be closer or tighter? More frames? Less?

P.s. See what I mean about Quincy insisting on being in photos?
