This Mod Farmhouse is impressive! I always love a good, raw space. It looks like they use it as a studio. I think it'd make for an incredible guest house, though privacy could be an issue. I really like how the door is a bit unexpected.

What would you use this space for?

Atrium House

Who would guess that anything exciting would be hiding behind that facade?
Well, in Brooklyn, NY, that unsuspecting and industrial looking door leads to a modern home with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that surround a pretty green atrium.

I love the cement floors with the steel framed windows. I'm not wild about the bedroom paneling at all, but the rest of the house definitely makes up for it.

Sometimes Black & White is better

I have a weird, not very exciting confession: I love black and white tile floor. Blame it on my obsession with 3 Men and a Baby (I really hope you get that connection), but I've always imagined having a black and white tile floor in either the kitchen or living room of my dream house. I still plan on incorporating it somewhere, someday.

Emma Thomas is truly genius. She's got such a simple but almost eclectic touch, I love it!

Stone Cottage

I think I am going to need many houses in various locations because now I have added a stone cottage to the list. This place is great!

They acheived a homey, warm look while still having a lot of exposed stone and streamlined decor.

I love that huge sliding glass door in the kitchen, so cool. Add some vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors and I'm completely sold.

Is it just me or are even the tree's in front of the house super awesome?

Welcome to Perry Street

A friend of mine from college recently posted picture of her charming, downtown Charleston apartment and I've been so excited to share them with you.

Jamie has an incredible knack for finding the coolest stuff at thrift stores, antique stores and even on the side of the road. She is also an amazing artist and those large paintings you see are her own work.
