Tis the season

Christmas, my favorite! I've got the tree up (although pending the new ornaments I found at Target today that will be changing next week) but I've yet to get the rest of the house decorated. I've been searching online for some inspiration and here's some pretties I found:

Winter light

I fell asleep googling images to blog about last night. So you get that post tonight :)
So, I'm not sure if this sounds crazy but I love that pretty greyish light that only winter emits. You know on a cold day when it comes shining in the window? It's a very soft, greyish light and it almost has a cold feel to it. I have missed it a lot since moving out of Alaska.

The time has come for cold, and overcoats

Okay, not quite but it was definitely chillier today (70's) and it's supposed to get colder. I sure hope it does because if I don't get to wear more leggings and tights soon I might dry. I am loving this look below, that jacket is pure perfection! Within the link there's another adorable outfit -skirt with tight, cami and sweater. Want!

I just love this home. It's so clean and simple looking! Plus, I'm an absolute sucker for hardwood floors. That bathroom look pretty fun too.

My darling readers (mom), I want your opinion. A lot of the time when I post decor posts such as this one I just pretty much take the pictures straight from another blog (which you will see if you click on the above link) is this is annoying? I mean, if you're also a follower of that blog is it too redundant to post the same thing they did? Should I do more of the posts where I mix it up and grab from several sources?

Simplicity

I feel like I'm still coming into my own and developing my own style, I definitely know what I like but sometimes I wish I decorated or dressed differently. For instance, a part of me would really love to start decorating with a more simple, eclectic approach. I love when there is a clean space with random, personal touches like these:

The Honey Trees

I already am in love with Simon Filip's work so what has taking me so long to check out his sister, (the voice of) The Honey Trees? I can not get over her amazing voice and the video is so cute you seriously must watch. I am swooning over here.

T's sister got married this weekend and as amazing and fun as it was it sure is exhausting! I'm not even the bride and I'm tired out.

A Wednesday that looks like a Thursday

Apparently my whole week is off. I guess really it is, I have friday off so today feels like Thursday because it is my Thursday. You still with me here? We have a super busy week with T's sister getting married Saturday. All kinds of family in town, outfits to pick, house to clean...all that good stuff.

Custom chocolate? Yes please! for anyone who is wondering I'd like a milk chocolate bar with sour cherries, raspeberries, hazelnut, yogurt pretzels and pomegranate granola. Salty, sour and sweet.

Pretty pictures

Today we were taking about "trash the dress" photos and it made me think of these pretties.
"Trash the dress" is just like it sounds, they're photos taken after your wedding where you trash you dress. Whether that be by jumping in a pool, playing in mud, going to an amusement park, etc...I think if done right they can be gorgeous.

Wouldn't you know it, I don't have the source. If anyone has it, please let me know.
