Dallas dining

This Friday I leave for Dallas to visit my Parent's. I love my Dallas trips, we always have such a good time. This trip is special though as my Aunt and Grandma are joining my Mom and I for wedding dress shopping, yay!

Before I went to Dallas last time, I created post. Mom and I ended up going to some of the places. I thought I'd do another post on popular Dallas attractions. This time, apparently is all about food. Every time I go to Dallas we eat at some great restaurant or another, but Mom and I are always looking for new places to try.

The Hospitality Sweet Since their site is being worked on, I don't know much about them. Apparently they're right down the hall from an old, working post office. How cute. Oh, and their Macaron's look delicious!

Speaking of Macaron's....Crème De La Cookie has been voted best Macaron (and cake balls) in Dallas.

This cute little French restaurant, Mercat Bistro appears to have recently opened downtown. Their interior looks adorable and they have reasonable lunch options like quiche and croque madame, ooh la la!
Oddfellows, Voted Best Mac n' Cheese in Dallas, I think I'd like to try that. I'm also down to sample their chicken and waffles. Mmm...

My parent's are on a gluten and dairy free diet. Which, unfortunately for Mom, means they don't eat out too often. Don't get me wrong, they whip up some delicious meals at home. However, I'm going to push to check out Company Café, an organic and gluten free restaurant while I'm there.

Almost every time I am in Dallas we drive past Pearl Cup's  location on Henderson. I've always been intrigued by their logo and inconspicuous store front. Sounds like their coffee is amazing!

Ascension Coffee, another coffee place. They just look so cute, I couldn't resist. They even offer meals, and if I remember correctly, they're close to church which might work perfectly for a Sunday Brunch.

I can't wait to see where we end up going, maybe I'll even make a follow up post.
