Fashion Friday: 7 polishes for summer

As you may have gathered from yesterday's post (and other previous posts),  I have a nail polish addiction. I can't help it, there's just so many pretty colors!

 I typically paint my nails once a week, in a color to match the season. I spend entirely too much thought into whether a certain color is too summery for April, but possibly too wintery. It's ridiculous, I know. 

These colors are pure summer though, and I'm dying to get my hands (ha!) on some of them.

Essie is definitely one of my favorite brands, but I really have been loving Julep and Zoya lately.

Right now, my nails are Black and Gold as they will hopefully be, for the next several weeks of the Bruins Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Really though, It's the first official day of summer. Granted, it's been summer here in Phoenix for months. My idea of the perfect, lazy summer:

 A swim in this lake

 

This tasty, orange-mint salad

 Watching the sunset on the beach

 

A late night, outdoor movie with friends

 Lounging in that bed, reading a good book
