I just love this home. It's so clean and simple looking! Plus, I'm an absolute sucker for hardwood floors. That bathroom look pretty fun too.

My darling readers (mom), I want your opinion. A lot of the time when I post decor posts such as this one I just pretty much take the pictures straight from another blog (which you will see if you click on the above link) is this is annoying? I mean, if you're also a follower of that blog is it too redundant to post the same thing they did? Should I do more of the posts where I mix it up and grab from several sources?

Simplicity

I feel like I'm still coming into my own and developing my own style, I definitely know what I like but sometimes I wish I decorated or dressed differently. For instance, a part of me would really love to start decorating with a more simple, eclectic approach. I love when there is a clean space with random, personal touches like these:

The Honey Trees

I already am in love with Simon Filip's work so what has taking me so long to check out his sister, (the voice of) The Honey Trees? I can not get over her amazing voice and the video is so cute you seriously must watch. I am swooning over here.

T's sister got married this weekend and as amazing and fun as it was it sure is exhausting! I'm not even the bride and I'm tired out.

A Wednesday that looks like a Thursday

Apparently my whole week is off. I guess really it is, I have friday off so today feels like Thursday because it is my Thursday. You still with me here? We have a super busy week with T's sister getting married Saturday. All kinds of family in town, outfits to pick, house to clean...all that good stuff.

I've been loving youtube tutorials lately and I thought this Twiggy one was great.

Custom chocolate? Yes please! for anyone who is wondering I'd like a milk chocolate bar with sour cherries, raspeberries, hazelnut, yogurt pretzels and pomegranate granola. Salty, sour and sweet.

I love Zooey Deschanel. No, really, I do. Her hair, her style, that voice, those eyes...she seems incredible.

Pretty pictures

Today we were taking about "trash the dress" photos and it made me think of these pretties.
"Trash the dress" is just like it sounds, they're photos taken after your wedding where you trash you dress. Whether that be by jumping in a pool, playing in mud, going to an amusement park, etc...I think if done right they can be gorgeous.

Wouldn't you know it, I don't have the source. If anyone has it, please let me know.

I love yellow, I pretty much always have. I just think its a perfect color to use as an accent or hey as the focal point. I'm especially into yellow and grey (as is everyone else it seems).

Wednesday Etsy Finds

I keep thinking today is Thursday (It is not) anyways, I've been thinking of Christmas gifts (yes, already!) and Etsy seems to be the perfect place to shop. Here are some awesome things I found. Too bad I want them all for myself. Is it bad to buy yourself Christmas gifts?

Hmm, not normally a fan of colored tiles but this green looks perfect don't you think? I imagine the room spells like bamboo or green grass. I think it works so well because of all of the white, there's nothing competing with the green.

Bunkbeds

Apparently gone are the days of ugly metal bunk beds in awful primary colors. Who knew bunks beds could look so cute and stylish? I'm loving the double bunks - so perfect for a sleep over! The last one, what a clever use of that corner and an awkward wall.

Simplicity

It's been a tiring week. I'll take this simple (read: awesome) bedroom, please and thank you!

Pumpkin!

So, once upon a time, in art class in college we were talking about different hue's of white. Everyone was shouting out answers like: "ivory", "cream", "snow". Well, I didn't get the memo (due to me excessive chatting and doodling, I'm sure) and thought we were just yelling random hue's for any color. I very loudly shouted out "pumpkin!". Everyone gave me an odd look and carried on. Ever since then my friends like to bring up that embarrassing moment and occasionally refer to me as pumpkin.
Anyways, my point is, it is now officially fall (even though Phoenix's weather may say otherwise) and I am craving all thing pumpkin.
